RECEPTIONIST REQUIRED AT OPEN HEMEL HEMPSTEAD.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Receptionist to be the welcoming face and an engaging voice to our clientele. You’ll play an important role in the client’s journey throughout their salon experience.
We are a growing and a busy salon and are looking for that person who can mould within our team as well as being an important support to the salon team. We require a well-presented individual who is a great organiser with excellent communication skills and with the ability to stay calm in a pressurised environment.
You’ll need to be smart in appearance. Previous experience in the retail or salon or hospitality sectors and 5* customer service is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
•Meet and greet clients, and provide a high level of customer service all round •Making appointments, updating and taking client details (managing GDPR), maintaining a database, taking payments and cashing up.
•Helping the Salon Manager with administrative tasks and helping to maintain the salon appearance
•Cross-selling services and products when appropriate (e.g. retail and gift cards)Inform clients about new services and loyalty packages
•Providing clients with advice on our Retail lines (training provided)Stock Control on Retail products and salon colour ordersCollecting images for our social media
Requirements.
You must have a bubbly, warm and friendly personality who is committed to delivering outstanding client service and care.
•Previous experience in Reception and Front of House roles and a knowledge of the Hairdressing/ Beauty industry would be an advantage.
•You must be an organised person with excellent communication skills and a good understanding of customer service
•You must be computer literate in Microsoft Office (our software system is Shortcuts and training will be provided)Well presented
Job Type: part-time
Salary: £10.00 per hour
