Tell us a bit about yourself and your role at OPEN Hairdressing
I’m a senior stylist and I’ve been working at OPEN Hairdressing Berkhamsted for over a decade. I wanted to be a hairdresser since I was six years old as I’d always loved fashion. Hairdressing training began when I was sixteen years old and I have now been working in the industry for over thirty years!
I started my hairdressing apprenticeship in Suffolk with the Steiner Group. However, when I was twenty-three, I moved to London and joined Sanrizz. I completed four months intensive training across the salons in Knightsbridge, Covent Garden and Mayfair. It gave me the opportunity to work on shooting new collections, editorial, seminars and The Alternative Hair Show.
What do you think makes OPEN Hairdressing different to other salons?
OPEN Hairdressing is a friendly, professional, happy and creative salon that cares about each individual client. Furthermore, we also give advice on how clients can manage their hair at home, which is a great reason to visit us in Berkhamsted.
What do you enjoy most about your role at OPEN Hairdressing?
OPEN provides a whole new experience for the client and is by far the nicest salon I’ve ever worked in during my hairdressing career.
