Davines (dav-in-as) is an environmentally friendly hair care business based in Italy. Davines takes advantage of the natural properties of plants and other resources to formulate organic hair care products. Apart from designing products with recyclable packaging, they ensure that the harvested ingredients are replaced, leaving the environment unharmed. And that’s just one of the many reasons why we adore Davines!
What?
This is An Invisible No Gas Spray is a humidity fighting, non-aerosol hair product. It leaves hair with flexible movement, a natural and long lasting finish that is ideal when using hot styling tools. It’s also packed with fruit extracts that will leave your hair looking and smelling great.
Where?
We use Davines products on clients at OPEN Hairdressing Hemel Hempstead. As Davines only ships to select countries, you can purchase Davines items conveniently from our shop. We’ve also introduced a small number of products to OPEN Hairdressing Berkhamsted and OPEN Hairdressing Harpenden. Why?
Products like aerosols contain a chemical known as CFC’s (or chloroflurocarbons if you want the full name!). They are widely used in hair and beauty products, such as aerosols. Above all, they are known to be the cause of holes appearing in the earth’s ozone layer. Therefore, they contribute to the increasingly severe global warming issue – and the likelihood of frizzy hair. On the other hand, Davines’ ‘No Gas’ alternative means they all have either no or minimal impact on the environment so we can all indulge responsibly.
How?
This product needs to be shaken well before use. However, it can be applied to dry or damp hair and sprayed from at least 30cm (approx. 12 inches) away.
