Wella Illumina Colour Toner – Opal-Essence

Tai says:

The client had grown out their bleach colour hair. Usually, she has her hair dyed a white colour but wanted to go for something a bit more edgy! Therefore, we agreed on a smokey grey root with rose pink ends. Both colours (Titanium Rose and Silver Mauve) eventually fade back into blonde, so these were a good choice.

I used the grey and pink hair toner from Opalescence by Wella Illumina’s Colour line. They give the hair a light and silky sheen that reflects light beautifully. Depending on how the light reaches the hair, you will notice a range of both warm and cool tones in the hair. After having separated the hair and covering each strand in foils, I processed the toner for 30 minutes without heat. The hair was then washed and blow dried before I handed my client over to Ben who created a short and sharp final cut.
