Ultimately, the best way to prevent split ends from forming is to simply book regular trims. Depending on your hair type and it’s condition, it’s advised that your hair is cut between 6 – 12 weeks at a time to ensure optimum hair health. Think of split ends as zips. While they may start at the ends of the hair follicles, if left untreated, the splits can widen even more.
