OPEN Hairdressing Berkhamsted has undergone a stunning refurbishment. After starting trade in 2014, we felt it was time for a salon refurbishment both inside and out. If you haven’t checked out our new space in person, we thought we’d show you what inspired us and what you can expect:
So what’s new?
With a shiny shop front, you’ll notice that the salon layout is similar to as it was previously. However, with a bright reception and stylish waiting area, you’ll see that deep turquoise tiles from Fired Earth now grace our salon walls. If you’ve visited our salon in Hemel Hempstead, you’ll already be familiar with the tropical colour scheme. So we thought we’d adopt this colour palette and apply it in Berkhamsted.
Above our striking grey salon chairs, we’ve ensured that the lighting is understated and cool. The light reflects off the mirrors and we can still take advantage of the natural light at the front. There are spacious counters for hair dye, styling products as well as your complimentary cup of coffee! Our salon is easy to navigate and spacious enough to fit large numbers of clients without becoming crowded. The salon remains a calming and sociable environment with a focus on client experience and enjoyment.
It’s not just the main salon area that has been redecorated, but the backwash has also had a stylish revamp! The plush seats are easily adjustable to ensure maximum comfort with a whole range of shampoos and conditioners lining the shelves. The textured wall was behind the basins also provide a beautiful contrast to the dark green paint in this small but relaxing space.
What about the products?
Clients will know that we have used Bumble and bumble products – and we’re just one of sixty salons in the UK to do so. However, sitting side by side is the eco-friendly product range from Italy-born brand Davines. They can be found on our impressive shelving display at the front of the salon.
Sitting on high quality wood with gold accents, the products are framed by quirky plants to reinforce a chilled out salon vibe. Our stylists are always on hand to introduce you to products and can make shopping for expertly crafted hair products so much easier. You won’t find Davines or Bumble and bumble anywhere else on the high street – so it’s definitely another reason to visit us!
As for colour, we are sticking with what we know. Our colourists will continue to use Wella hair products due to their remarkably long-lasting and professional finish. We ask that you take a moment to carry out a patch test so you can enjoy our new salon surroundings with ease.
